I used to think that myth 5 was true. I'm not trying to endorse Mobil 1, but it is the only synthetic I've ever used. Take a look at this next video and maybe you'll see a myth that you thought was true.
The myth that you should change out the oil every 3,000 is still going around. I still hear it once in a while from some mechanics trying to make a little extra revenue. In this video you'll see why it's ok for you run that oil a little longer. I personally like using synthetics, and I change out my oil every 6-7,000 miles.
